Since 1972, the Frontenac Heritage Foundation, a non-profit charitable corporation, has promoted the preservation of buildings that contribute to the heritage in the greater Kingston region.
In recent years, the board of the foundation decided it needs to do more advocacy work, and in order to do so, decided it was time to update its image. This involved a new logo and an updated website to reflect this change.
Lakeview PR began working with the board to identify a desired brand image, which formed the basis for the creative brief. A new logo was created to respect the heritage aspect of the board’s mandate while providing a fresh and engaging look. A complementary style guide was also developed.
The new website respects the style of the brand image and increases visual appeal. It has a new navigational structure, a focus on photo images and links to social media accounts. The fresh new look will help to give the FHF a new perspective on its role in protecting built heritage.
“We can't say enough about working with Colleen on this project! Pitching the media, drafting media release, and especially promoting the event on social media. PLUS, she volunteered one day at the event! How cool is that! It has been wonderful working with this firm!”
Shirley Bailey, President, Frontenac Heritage Foundation
